WASHINGTON, D.C.— On January 2nd, a coalition of national security practitioners, retired military leaders, subject matter experts and other patriots held a second, two-hour “Senate telethon” offering compelling arguments as to why President Trump’s nominee to be the next Secretary of Defense – combat veteran, author of The War on Warriors and television host Pete Hegseth – should be confirmed without delay. His nomination hearing before the Senate Armed Services Committee is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14th.
